Fan recreation of the iconic plasma rifle from the game Doom (2016). I had a lot of fun working off of Jon Lane's brilliant design.
This is a game ready asset that consists of 14'849 triangles and 1 texture set.
Modeling this weapon also highlighted some flaws in my workflow that I will address in future projects.
Modeling done in 3DS Max and Zbrush.
Texturing done using Adobe Substance Painter.
Rendering done both using Unreal Engine 4 and Marmoset Toolbag.
